Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Wash and cut the potatoes into even-sized fries.
  2. Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat the fries completely dry.
  4. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  6. Arrange the fries in a single layer in the basket.
  7. Air fry for 18–22 minutes, shaking the basket every 5–6 minutes.
  8. For extra crispiness, increase the temperature to 400°F (204°C) for the last 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

  • Soaking the potatoes helps remove excess starch for crispier fries.
  • Removing as much moisture as possible is the secret to crispy fries.
  • Dry the potatoes thoroughly before seasoning.
